This is great. You know what has been on my mind since last night? I remember when G.Budge really smiled you could see a little glint of one of the silver caps on his back tooth from the side of his mouth.
Weird.

Uncle Ed rightfully articulated last night, "Grandpa was good with babies and college students."

I will, like Miss Viona, love you forever Grandpa!!!

Eva always tells me about Grandpa Budge being the professor for the students, and getting flack from the Administration about it...I just wish I could of had him as my professor I think I would view school differently if I had, maybe some other time. We Love you!

What a great picture! Yesterday in church, before my mom called, I was thinking of Grandpa and feeling sad that our next child wont get to be held by him, or hear him whistle through his teeth or sing his silly songs. He sure was great with the little ones!

Oh, my dear, I am so sorry I did not look at your blog before I called you today. That is one lovely image of your grandparents. I only ever knew my mother's mother because - by the time I was born - every other one of my grandparents was dead. She died on my birthday, when I turned 19. We were very close. For two years after she died, I couldn't talk about her without breaking down and sobbing. Funny that once I was baptized at 21, I was able to verbalize my feelings about her. I still think about her every day.

Thanks for sharing a bit of your grandpa with us. Sending a big hug your way!
